Having enjoyed the All-Line rover the previous year, and seeing that there were still a number of locomotive-hauled trains, I decided to have another week of travelling. Once again, I picked September and, with the aid of Class One and the Great Britain Passenger Railway Timetable, I planned a route to catch the 37-hauled trains, hopefully the 31-hauled trains on the Bedford to Bletchley run, and finishing with D9000 on the Ramsgate.
Another trip to the travel centre at Newcastle Central station. No enthusiast clerk this time, and a short time later I came away with my rover and reservations.
